The Rangers have narrowed down their search for Rudy Jaramillo's replacement to three well experienced hitting coaches (Thad Bosely, Clint Hurdle, Gerald Perry) as well as former fan favorite Rusty greer.

Stats on each:

Thad Bosely: A's hitting coach from 1999-2002. Played 14 season in the majors with a career .272 batting average, .330 on-base percentage, and a .357 slugging percentage. Helped coach Jason Giambi and Miguel Tejada to AL MVP awards in his time at Oakland.

Clint Hurdle: Colorado Rockies hitting coach from 1997-2002 before replacing Buddy Bell as manager midseason. During his time as a hitting coach, the Rockies scored over 900 runs in 4 of his 6 seasons, but keep in mind how hitter friendly Coors Field is.

Gerald Perry: Major League hitting for the past 10 seasons with the Mariners (2000-2002), Pirates (2003-2005), A's (2006), Cubs (2007). Currently the Rangers First base coach.

Rusty Greer: What Rusty lacks in experience, he makes up for with his excellent track record as a hitter, with a career .305 batting average, .38 on-base percentage and a .478 slugging percentage.

Face-to-fce interviews are scheduled for Monday.
